“Hi Chris! Thank You for the awesome Holeyboard! I was wondering what the maximum expansion is on the modules 1 and 2? I set mine at 23.5″ since that’s where the last holes line up. I was thinking that they would go out to 25″? Do I need to do something different with the middle rubber feet?”
This is a great question, she will definitely go to 25″ wide with Modules 1&2. See my images attached. You take the two feet on the right side of Module 2 off, you take off and remove the two short big screws with the big keys nuts that are holding the two together and then you extend the boards so the last holes at the edge are overlapping and in the two chamfered holes you put the short feet back. These then hold the two together and provide support in the middle.
So I was just watching Phil McKnight’s video review of the H-board 123 and he states you can use a Z Connector to connect modules 1 & 2 side by side. Is this true if using the same length feet? Or… Are modules 1 & 2 enough of a height difference that this would not work and you can only ‘fully’ extend the two and connect them as shown above?
To connect them side by side you need two (or more) identical modules. Like two # 2โs or 1โs. You then lose the ability to adjust width however.
nice way to expand the pedalboard
